The guiding principles and the framework of our activities shall include the following elements in the pursuit of our commitment to Occupational Health, Safety and Environment:
- Comply with all UAE Federal and Local laws and regulations including other commitments as applicable to International Certifications Limited
- Pursue best practices, allocate and ensure all necessary resources to achieve maintain and develop food safety objectives.
- Clearly identify and communicate to all employees, contractors and visitors of their responsibility and accountability for health and safety of individuals, community and stakeholders as well as safe performance to protect the environment through promoting awareness and by setting and communicating appropriate objectives and targets to all employees.
- Manage all the Food Safety aspects by integrating hazard identification and risk minimization throughout the life cycle of our activities and services, including the ultimate disposal of its generated waste.
- Strive to ensure that all employees, contractors, customers and members of the public are aware of the Food Safety impacts and risks of our business and understand how we can work together in order to meet the needs of our business in a safe and sustainable manner. In this regard we seek to provide leadership towards continual improvement.
- Adopt precautionary principle through effective and appropriate measures by scientific knowledge and available best clean technologies wherever possible to ensure protection of environment in addition to prevention of pollution.
- Empower all employees and contractors at the plant by training and awareness to carry out their activities in a manner that, safeguard and maintain the occupational health and safety of people, property and the environment.
- Establish an effective system to encourage active employee participation in protection of the Environment and individual’s Occupational Health and safety.
- Review and evaluate targets, EHS performance and methodology to measure the progress and ensure compliance with this policy via periodic audits and management reviews to ensure continual improvement of the OHSE management system.
- Make publicly available this policy to all interested parties upon request.
- Aligned Global Assurance Quality & Standardization Certificate shall review the EHS Policy annually
This Policy applies to all the activities and operations of Aligned Global Assurance Quality & Standardization Certificate and is required to be implemented by all employees and their contractors.
